Need a mold remediator? There a couple of things you may want to remember.
1. There is no licensing in NYS for mold remediation, but most reputable companies carry a license form another state or a national organization's certificate.
2. Make sure they have insurance just for mold remediation and not just a GL policy
3. Just like any contractor, meet them and evaluate them in person. Do research and see pictures of their work and talk to previous customers if possible.
4. Most reputable companies have guarantees and use products with guarantees. Usually 5-10 years.
